Jeff Contreras

As a child, Jeff's started his tennis career under the coaching of his mother who was a formally world ranked tennis player in the early 80's.

Jeff's coaching career began when he was 17 working with juniors in Lubbock, TX at a private country club. 
At the age of 19, Jeff took a position with BBI Tennis group from 2004-2009 in Temple,TX  where he began building a coaching reputation as hes worked with juniors, and adults.

During this occupation, Jeff played for Temple College under Head coach, Dick King and assistant and former Venezuela Davis Cup player Ricardo Omana competing against nationally ranked players as well as ATP ranked players.  Jeff recieved a team rank of 7th in the nation. 

After playing for TC, Jeff transfered to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and played under head coach, James Cohagan and help take the team to the conference tournament 2 years in a row.

After competing in college, Jeff still competes within the USTA and Pro/Am tournaments.

In 2009, Jeff came to Peloton Ridge Country as the Head Pro/Director of Tennis.  Jeff's focus is to guide anyone who has an interest in the sport of tennis and to help them achieve the highest level they can.
